Services

Comprehensive audiology care, tailored to you.

From your first hearing test to long-term care of your devices — every service below is available across our six offices.

01 · Diagnostic hearing evaluations

Hearing tests that map the full picture.

At KC Hearing Center, we offer comprehensive hearing tests that diagnose all types of hearing loss. Our hearing examinations are conducted by a highly trained audiologist equipped with the latest technology and expertise to accurately assess your hearing abilities.

We believe that early detection and treatment is key to managing hearing loss and improving quality of life. Thorough hearing evaluations provide detailed information on how your unique, individual brain processes sound. Every brain has different preferences. We specialize in personalized testing and treatment options.

We understand that the experience of hearing loss can be frustrating and isolating, which is why we emphasize personalized care and support to our patients throughout the testing process and beyond.

02 · Treatment of hearing loss

Because untreated hearing loss is a whole-body issue.

Untreated hearing loss has been linked to social isolation, increased risk of falls, and cognitive decline. That is why our treatment approach starts with education: we explain exactly what your audiogram shows, what is driving your hearing loss, and what the most effective options look like for your life.

From there, we build a personalized plan — which may include medical referral, hearing aid fitting, communication strategies, tinnitus management, or auditory training. Your plan evolves with you.

We accept most insurance plans. When you share your insurance information with us, we verify your benefits before your first visit.
03 · Hearing aid consultation, fitting & repairs

Real results, not just a device.

As audiologists, we diagnose hearing loss and prescribe hearing aids. Treating a diagnosed hearing loss properly may require you to wear hearing aids — and how they are fit makes all the difference.

Our team is experienced in the latest fitting techniques and protocols, including real-ear verification. We work closely with every patient to customize devices to their lifestyle — from adjusting volume to fine-tuning programs for work, church, or restaurants.

Repairs & maintenance

Hearing aids need routine cleanings and adjustments approximately every three months. We work with most major brands and are fully equipped with the latest tools and techniques to diagnose and repair almost any issue — quickly, and usually without sending your devices away.

04 · Tinnitus treatment & therapy

Finding relief from ringing, buzzing, and humming.

Tinnitus — a persistent ringing, buzzing, clicking, or humming sound heard only by you — affects millions of people and can significantly impact quality of life. At KC Hearing Center, we offer comprehensive tinnitus evaluations and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to your specific experience.

Our approach combines:

  • Thorough tinnitus evaluation to identify contributing factors and measure severity.
  • Sound therapy including specialized hearing aid programs designed to reduce tinnitus awareness.
  • Tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT) approaches that help your brain habituate to the sound.
  • Education and counseling so you understand what's happening and why — which itself reduces distress.
  • Collaboration with medical providers when underlying causes require further workup.

Many patients experience meaningful improvement in their symptoms and quality of life. If tinnitus is affecting your sleep, concentration, or relationships, a dedicated evaluation is the right first step.

Assistive listening accessories
05 · Assistive listening devices, apps & accessories

When hearing aids alone aren't quite enough.

The world around us is filled with complex sound environments that are varied and constantly changing. You will inevitably find yourself in situations where hearing aids alone are not sufficient. In such instances, the added support of a smartphone app, an accessory, or an assistive listening device (ALD) can dramatically enhance your experience.

We offer the latest, top-of-the-line accessories to improve accessibility in any environment. From discreet free apps on personal devices to TV streamers, remote mics, captioned phones, and more advanced systems — we can recommend a solution that fits your life and lifestyle.

06 · Auditory training (LACE)

Hearing is rebuilt in the brain — not just in the device.

Auditory training is exercise and therapy for the ear-to-brain connection. After months or years of untreated hearing loss, the auditory pathways between your ears and your brain weaken. Simply putting in new hearing aids does not automatically restore that connection — it needs practice.

We use Neurotone LACE AI Pro auditory training — a structured, AI-powered program that adapts to your progress and helps rebuild your brain's ability to distinguish speech in noise, follow a conversation across the table, and hear comfortably in busy rooms again. Most patients see noticeable improvement within a few weeks.

What training looks like

  • A baseline speech-in-noise assessment so we can measure progress.
  • Targeted listening drills that progress in difficulty over time.
  • Real-world practice strategies (restaurants, places of worship, phone calls).
  • Coaching from your audiologist at each follow-up visit.

It is one of the highest-impact services we offer, and one of the most overlooked.

Redux professional in-office hearing aid dryer
07 · Redux® professional drying

Our standard of care for hearing aid performance.

Moisture is the #1 day-to-day culprit behind hearing aid glitches. That is why we use the Redux® professional in-office dryer as part of routine care, so your devices perform at their best every day.

  • Complete, verified drying in minutes. Redux removes all moisture in about 6–8 minutes and verifies the exact amount removed in real time.
  • Safe for rechargeables. Battery-specific temperature cycles protect today's rechargeable devices while drying thoroughly.
  • Proven performance gains. After a Redux treatment, 78% of hearing aids improve; even 50% of "dead" aids revive.
  • Fewer repairs, less downtime. Clinics using Redux report ~50% fewer repairs — keeping you in your own devices and out of the repair loop.
  • Restores prescriptive targets. Drying can bring devices back up to target output, confirmed with real-ear measures.

What this means for you: faster visits, fewer interruptions, and clearer hearing — because keeping moisture out of your hearing aids is part of our standard of care.

08 · Ear impressions & custom earmolds

Custom protection and performance — shaped to you.

Your ears are as unique as your fingerprints. Whether you are protecting them from loud environments or shaping sound for music or sport, a properly fit custom earmold makes a night-and-day difference in comfort, seal, and acoustic performance.

We offer ear impressions and custom earmolds for:

  • Hunters & shooters — electronic and passive impulse-noise protection.
  • Musicians — flat-response filtered earplugs that reduce volume without muffling tone.
  • Swimmers — watertight, soft-silicone molds that keep ears dry and infection-free.
  • Industrial and workplace — OSHA-grade custom hearing protection tailored to your daily environments.
  • Hearing aid wearers — replacement earmolds and domes that restore a secure, comfortable fit.

Visit any of our locations for a quick, painless impression and we will follow up when your custom molds arrive.
