Hearing Tests
At KC Hearing Center, we offer comprehensive hearing tests that diagnose all types of hearing loss. Our hearing examinations are conducted by a highly trained audiologist equipped with the latest technology and expertise to accurately assess your hearing abilities.
We believe that early detection and treatment is key to managing hearing loss and improving the quality of life of our patients. Our hearing tests are painless, non-invasive, and can be completed in a timely manner. We do accept most insurance for hearing evaluations. At KC Hearing Center, we understand that the experience of hearing loss can be frustrating and isolating, which is why we emphasize personalized care and support to our patients throughout the testing process and beyond.

Hearing Aid Fittings
As Audiologists, we can diagnose hearing loss and prescribe hearing aids. Properly treating a diagnosed hearing loss, may require you to wear hearing aids. Untreated hearing loss has been linked to other health concerns, which is why we focus on early detection and properly fit hearing aids to treat hearing loss.
Our team is experienced in the latest fitting techniques and protocols, and we always work closely with each patient to customize their hearing aids to suit their personal and lifestyle needs. Whether it's adjusting the volume or fine-tuning the settings, we are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our patients. We also offer continued support and maintenance to ensure that their hearing aids continue to perform at their best.

Redux® Professional Drying — Our Standard of Care
Moisture is the #1 day-to-day culprit behind hearing-aid glitches. That’s why we use the Redux professional in-office dryer as part of routine care—so your devices perform at their best, every day.
Why Redux is best practice (and why we use it):
- Complete, verified drying in minutes. Redux removes all moisture in about 6–8 minutes and verifies the exact amount removed in real time—so you leave hearing clearly the same day.
- Safe for rechargeables. Battery-specific temperature cycles protect today’s rechargeable devices while drying thoroughly.
- Proven performance gains. After Redux treatment, 78% of hearing aids improve; even 50% of “dead” aids revive, and small amounts of moisture (as little as 0.5–1.0 μL) can meaningfully affect clarity—so removing it matters.
- Addresses moisture every time you wear your aids. Warm, humid ear canals cause condensation on the cooler receiver; most devices harbor hidden moisture, and other dryers often leave it behind—Redux doesn’t.
- Fewer repairs, less downtime. Clinics using Redux report ~50% fewer repairs and save about 1.5 hours of clinical time per repair avoided—keeping you in your own devices and out of the repair loop.
- Restores targets. Drying can help bring devices back up to prescriptive targets (confirmed with real-ear measures), improving comfort and understanding.
What this means for you: faster visits, fewer interruptions, and clearer, more consistent hearing—because keeping moisture out of your hearing aids is part of our standard of care.
